Pacely

For owner-run businesses

The phone line that chases every invoice and answers every call.

You are on a job, not at a desk. Pacely picks up the enquiry you would have missed, and rings the customer whose invoice you have been meaning to chase for three weeks.

08:40 · On site

You are up a ladder. The phone is in the van.

Someone wants a quote. It rings four times, goes to voicemail, and they try the next name on the list instead. You never find out it happened.

What happens now

Pacely picks up.

On the second ring, in a normal voice, and it has a real conversation rather than taking a message. It gets the name, the number, and what the job actually is.

  • Captures the enquiry, not just the number
  • Recognises a customer who has rung before
  • Puts the call through when you want it

When you get down off the roof

“Michael Byrne, 087 … , wants a price on twelve metres of fascia. Happy to be called back this evening.”

Waiting on your phone, instead of a missed call you never knew about.

Every call that rings out is a quote somebody else is giving.

And every invoice nobody chased is money you have already earned, sitting in someone else’s account.

14:20 · The overdue list

Eleven invoices are past due. Nobody has rung any of them.

Chasing money is nobody's favourite job, so it slides to the end of the week, and then to the end of the next one. Pacely just works down the list.

14:22 · The call

It asks for a date, and it writes down the answer.

No hold music, no portal, no letter. It states the invoice and the amount, waits for a real answer, and turns that answer into something you can act on before it hangs up.

  • Gets a date, not a maybe
  • Steps up its tone the longer a debt runs
  • Stops the moment the money arrives

  5. AgentThat's great. So we can expect it by Friday the twelfth. I'll make a note and we'll leave you be until then.

Under the hood

From your spreadsheet to a payment date.

Five steps, none of which you have to think about after the first upload.

  1. 01

    Your accounts

A spreadsheet of overdue accounts, or later a connection to Xero, Sage or QuickBooks. Who owes what, and since when.

  2. 02

    The call list

Which invoices are worth chasing today, who has already promised to pay, and who has asked not to be called at all.

  3. 03

    The conversation

A real phone call. It asks for the right person by name, states the invoice and the amount, and listens to the answer.

  4. 04

    The outcome

A promise with a date, a dispute, a wrong number, or a payment taken there and then. Written down the moment the call ends.

  5. 05

    Your dashboard

What was said, what was agreed, what came in, and the handful of accounts that genuinely need you.

17:50 · Back at the van

Everything that happened, on one screen.

Four numbers at the top: calls answered, leads caught, money chased, money recovered. Underneath, the handful of accounts that genuinely need a person.

Every call

The recording, the transcript and a one-line summary of what was agreed.

Aged debt

What is owed in thirty, sixty and ninety days, so you know how bad the book is.

Needs you

Disputes and anything the agent handed back, rather than a list of everything.

Chase now

Open an account and ring it there and then, without waiting for the schedule.

The rules

Chasing money is where this goes wrong.

An agent that invents an amount, or says something you would never say, costs you a customer. These are the rules Pacely works inside, and most of them are yours to set.

It never invents a number

If it cannot confirm the invoice, it says so and hands the account to a person rather than guessing at a figure.

It asks for the right person first

Nothing about the debt is said until it knows who it is speaking to. A message left with someone else mentions no amounts.

One switch stops the calls

Mark a customer do-not-call and they are skipped entirely, on every invoice, until you say otherwise.

You write the final notice

The only sentence it may say about consequences is one you have written, describing something you genuinely do. Left blank, it says nothing.

Calling hours and limits are yours

It calls inside the hours you set, and no more often than you allow, counted per customer rather than per invoice.

Every call is kept

The recording and the full transcript, disclosed at the start of the call, and available to you afterwards.

Where your invoices come from

It starts with the file you already have.

You do not have to change how you keep your accounts. Whatever the overdue list lives in, it goes in one end — and a phone call, a payment and an updated book come out the other.

  • The call

It rings the customer, asks for a date, and writes down what was said.

  • A payment link

Sent by text during the call, for the ones who will pay there and then.

  • Your dashboard

Updated the moment the call ends, so the list is right when you look.

Spreadsheets work today. The direct connections to Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Stripe are being built now — we would rather say so than let you find out after you sign up.

How much is sitting in your overdue list right now?

If chasing invoices is eating your evenings, we would like to hear from you.
